Contemporary
Offered for our Intermediate & Senior Levels
Contemporary dance is a fluid and expressive dance genre that emerged in the mid-20th century. It prioritizes emotional expression, versatility, and creativity, allowing dancers to draw from various styles and experiment with movements. While grounded in solid technique, contemporary dance encourages individuality, fluidity, and innovative approaches to storytelling through movement. Dancers often explore the entire space, and the genre continues to evolve as choreographers push artistic boundaries.
